COE premiums for small cars down in October bid

COE premiums for goods vehicle and buses hiked 5.15% to $28,501.

Certificate of entitlement (COE) premiums for small cars inched up 1.63% from $28,000 in the mid-September bid to $28,457 in the first October bid, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) revealed.

Meanwhile, COE premiums for cars above 1600cc dipped 0.02% to 31,301. COE premiums for motorcycles also went down 2.49% to 4,109.

For goods vehicle and buses, COE premiums hiked by 5.15% from 27,104 to 28,501. Meanwhile, open COE premiums also inched up 1.72% to $32,552.

A total of 6,673 bids were received with the 2,059 large car COE bids comprising the most bids. Only 4,598 bids were granted.
